Hello Bonjour! I’m Rachèle, fully bilingual French and English, 50 years young!
I’m an easygoing, friendly, tidy, and respectful woman currently living in the GTA. I spent most of my life in Gatineau and am now looking to move back to be closer to my family.
I come with a beautiful five-year-old Golden Retriever named Mila, who is my absolute pride and joy! She’s incredibly sweet, quiet, well-behaved, and will probably want to be your best friend. However, she’s quite accustomed to being the queen of the castle, so I’m looking for someone without other pets.
Here’s my thinking: I personally find it ridiculous to pay $2,000 a month for a small apartment, not because I can’t afford it, but because I think there’s a much better way to spend that money!
Imagine two people combining their housing budgets. For $3,000 a month, that’s $1,500 each, and suddenly you’re looking at beautiful, spacious houses with yards, privacy, possibly a pool or jacuzzi, and room to breathe! Why pay more to live in a little apartment with neighbours stomping above your head, hearing everyone’s conversations, and smelling whatever they’re cooking or smoking?
That’s why I’m hoping to connect with someone who shares my thinking and would be interested in finding and renting a beautiful house together, with both our names on the lease.
I work from home, so I’m flexible about location. I’m open to anywhere in the Gatineau region, including the surrounding areas such as Val-des-Monts, Perkins, Cantley, and Chelsea. Whether you work from home or commute makes no difference to me.
I absolutely love cooking, and I love sharing my cooking even more! I am fully equipped kitchen wise, so if cooking isn’t your thing, you’re in luck. And if you love cooking too, even better!
I respect people’s privacy and personal space, but I’d also enjoy living with someone I genuinely get along with. Sharing the occasional meal, watching a movie, or having a good laugh together would be lovely. I’m not looking to be joined at the hip, just to create a comfortable, happy home.
I’m LGBTQ and looking for someone open-minded and respectful. I don’t smoke, vape, or use cannabis. What you choose to do is entirely your business, as long as the house remains smoke-free.
Ideally, I’d love to connect with another mature, financially responsible, easygoing adult who appreciates a clean, peaceful home and sees the value in sharing a beautiful property rather than paying a fortune to live alone.
I would prefer a female but open to a clean, respectful male.
