Hi everyone!
I’m Helena, 24, from Barcelona . I’ve been living in Toronto since November, where I moved for a work placement through a program with the Spanish Embassy. I’m currently working in HR at a consulting company, and I’ve recently extended my stay until October 31st (with the possibility of staying longer).
I’m now looking for a room starting May 1st
Preferred area: King West / Entertainment District (ideally walking distance to St. Andrew Station)
Budget: $1500–$1600 (flexible depending on amenities)
Looking for:
• Private room (private bathroom preferred)
• Window & closet (must-have)
• Furnished is a plus
• Month-to-month preferred, but open
• Female roommates only
A bit about me: I’m outgoing and love making the most of the city — trying new restaurants, going for drinks, and exploring different spots. At the same time, I really value my quiet time at home. I enjoy reading, watching series, and having a calm, cozy space during the week, so I’d say I’m a great balance between social and chill.
I’m also very clean, organized, and respectful of shared spaces — something I really value in a home.
I’m moving because my current roommates are graduating and leaving the city, so I won’t be able to stay in my current place.
Important note: I don’t have a Canadian credit score yet as I’ve only been here for a few months (and it’s not something commonly used in Spain), but I can provide proof of employment as well as references from both my current landlord and roommates.
