I'm searching for a tidy, responsible, and communicative roommate to take over the second bedroom in a newly renovated apartment. I'm looking to live with a fellow graduate student or a young professional who's in their mid-late 20's or 30's.
The apartment is a basement unit in a four-level walk up. It's bright and spacious with 9 ft. ceilings, and has its own laundry room and entrance foyer. It's located on a quiet street steps away from Trinity Bellwoods park, Ossington Street, and Little Italy. For TTC riders, the Dundas and College streetcars are within a 5 min walk. Street parking is available with a monthly permit.
I'm a PhD student in my early 30's. My hours fluctuate, but I typically split my work week between home and the lab at a downtown hospital. I'm an 8/10 on the cleanliness scale and like to keep common areas neat and tidy. I'm looking for a roommate who feels the same and keeps up with their share of household chores. I have two VERY sweet cats (Willy and Moose), so you must be a big feline fan. I'm a lover of live music, board games, and reality TV. I also love spending time in nature and experiencing new things around the city.
I'm social and enjoy being around people, but I also require a good amount of me-time. With that being said, I'm hoping to find a roommate who is open to being friends. I prefer that our house feel like a home and somewhere we can unwind together with a glass of wine after a long day. If you’re interested, please message me and tell me about yourself!*
